Once newly engaged couple Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti officially make it down the aisle, we can add them to the ever-growing list of Bachelor Nation couples who have beaten the odds and tied the knot. While one of my greatest guilty pleasures is looking at cute photos of the franchise leads and Paradise alums who are still with their Final Rose recipients, the dysfunctional family tree that The Bachelor has planted goes far beyond the more well-known couples. Although not every low-key Bachelor relationship has lasted, there were and currently are plenty of Bachelor Nation couples you probably forgot about. Whether sparks flew when two contestants met on the fratty, defunct Bachelor Pad or when they found a connection with each other out in the real world, the ties of this franchise run deep. I love Sean Lowe’s dad jokes about life with his Bachelor pick Catherine Giudici as much as the next gal, but there’s something very sweet about less-publicized alums who found love and made their relationship work. Sure, they did a reality TV show that one time, but they’re still normal humans who aren’t posting sponsored ads on Instagram every day. While some of these couples’ stories are adorable and worthy of more attention, others aren’t quite happy, which explains why longtime Bachelor fans have slowly forgotten about them. But if there’s any lesson we can take from this list, it’s that you certainly don’t have to be a lead in a sparkly dress to find love in Bachelor Nation.

The couple had a whirlwind romance on the show getting engaged in a matter of weeks, and ‘wed’ in June last year – exactly 12 months after they met. The star, who recently enlisted in the Marines, said: ‘It feels like she’s a runaway bride. We had this fantastic relationship, and then it totally vanished. It was like she ran away. Most people spend around a year planning their wedding, but most people don’t meet and get engaged on a monthlong television appearance, so we can probably toss any “normal” timetable out the window. Marcus’ sister just got married in July according to his Instagrams, so he probably won’t pick that as his month. Plus, he got engaged just months after his former flame, Andi Dorfman from The Bachelorette — and while ABC doesn’t have a contract over their lives, it seems unlikely that they’d be down for two stars to get hitched on the same weekend or even the same month.
Andi tells Modern Luxury she and Josh Murray will get married May 9 though that is a tentative date , so Marcus and Lacy will probably be somewhere before or after that — they can share the spotlight, after all. Plus, since they’re both so tan, and they fell in love in paradise, I’m betting they’ll want a warm beach wedding. Could June be the perfect month? I certainly think so. That is, if they don’t elope on Tuesday after the Bachelor in Paradise finale airs.

This means that we won’t get to watch them on television, but true fans are surely happy for their favorite cast members.
The Bachelor in Paradise Season 4 cast hasn’t officially been announced yet, but there are some alums who will almost certainly not be returning.
